Abstract
Computational Science (in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering) has emerged as one of
the main pillars of research and development efforts over the past few decades.

The talk will discuss materials science of materials for renewable energy applications, with
examples from thermoelectrics, piezoelectrics, thermal management and fuel cells

Furthermore, in this talk we will address the role of nano-structuring on improving the efficiency
of the materials for these application.
